Teaching Standards
The eight standards below are all prerequisites for effective teaching. They framed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Ithaca College as they were weaved in all of our courses.
Together with the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) standards, they encompassed the New York State learning standards and regulations for the pedagogical core.
