Student Teacher (03/2008-05/2008), Union Springs Middle School, Union Springs, NY

  • Taught Math 7 and Math 8 (developed and implemented units on linear and quadratic functions, geometric constructions, right triangle trigonometry, the Pythagorean theorem, polynomial expressions and percentages, proportions and exchange rates)

Student Teacher (01/2008-03/2008), Ithaca High School, Ithaca, NY

  • Taught Algebra 2 and Honors Geometry (designed and implemented units on logarithms, the trigonometric laws, quadrilaterals and explorations in non-Euclidean geometry)

Graduate Assistant (06/2007-12/2007), Education Department, Ithaca College

  • Collaborated with the faculty member responsible for the early field experience course
  • Supervised and assisted undergraduate education majors during their student teaching
